Bear Claw is full Accoyo and light fawn
!
Bear Claw's Sire, HPA Peruvian Don Marcelino is out of the well know Sire: PPERUVIAN TIMOTEO
& the well known dam, PERUVIAN MARIAH CAREY.
Bear Claw's Dam, WD Prairie Fire is out of PPERUVIAN CAMILIO, with PPPeruvian Auzengate on the Dams side.
We are happy to announce, Accoyo Bear Claw now has many gorgeous cria on the ground!
His cria are still a bit young, but those that have been in the show ring are doing very well. To view some of his off spring, click here.
We knew Bear Claw would do well for us, but we continue to get excited about his possibilities as we see his offspring hit the ground running. Color...even true black, density, fineness, character, huge bone, gorgeous head and a very unique pedigree. What else is there? Bear is one sexy fellow! He even has a mustache.

Bear Claw has a very fine fleece: 17.4 at first years fleece and 19 microns at over three years of age He exhibits a zippy, very uniform crimp with a buttery handle to the fleece. The powerful genetics packed into Bear Claw, an outstanding Full Accoyo, will give each breeding the propensity for color while keeping the fineness, density, character and phenotype. Proof is in the pudding..as seen in his cria (see photos below) that have very recently hit the ground. Look for his progeny in the shows this spring and fall (2010)
Reserve your breeding today, you will be powerful glad you did!!

"Booger Bear"
Gorgeous head and True Black, a nice bright fleece...and of course he is half accoyo. He received a 3rd out of 15 in the true black class at the 2009 Best of the Midwest Show in Ohio. If CND Accoyo Bear Claw can do this to our lowest end dam we can't wait to see what he puts on top of our high end dams. Boy is this fun!!!

LMA Bear Claw's On Like Popcorn
On Like Popcorn turns the heads at The Royal Alpaca Challenge with a close Second behind MFI and also leads the crew taking First Place for Bear Claw in Get of Sire, and finally, his position in Breeder's Best Three brought home First again!
We knew the potential results from this breeding matchup existed at a new level for us with Accoyo Bear Claw, but the cria Snowmass White Gold's Holiday presented us exceeded even those expectations! And yes, he is still much too young to bestow multiple accolades, so we relish the day he earns the go ahead.

| Dec 2009 Bear Claw's Cleatus steps up in his show deput with a great Second in a tough, large class at The Royal Alpaca Challenge! Cleatus is also a member of Bear Claw's Get of Sire First Place team!
Displaying an exceptionally bright and dense fleece, Cleatus holds a solid position on the LMA show string for Spring 2010.
The third Accoyo Bear Claw cria born this May, not only did he take after mom as a 21 pound baby, but he got that very friendly and curious personality. Cleatus likes to visit with everyone and is not afraid to stir things up a bit. Carrying Bear Claw's and Espresso's great looks and tremendous bone, his fleece looks very promising as well.

While our customers have enjoyed female cria out of Bear Claw, Sugarfoot is our first. She keeps up with her Bear Claw brothers by taking Second Place in Light Fawn Juv at The Royal Alpaca Challenge!
Just a lovely little youngster showing off her sire's attributes.

| LMA Bear Claw's Sookie is our second female out of Bear Claw. She is a very special girl. Her fleece is very different. Hard to explain, but it is silky and "heavy" like a suris, incredibly bright and soft with a bolder crimp that falls in large bundled flakes. One of those...have to open her to understand. But when we do, we always get, oohs and awes from the crowd. We will probably only put her in front of a few select judges due to her "different" fleece style.
